Privacy Policy

Pepita Needlepoint's privacy policy

Commerce requires trust, especially on the Internet. We want you to trust us; therefore, we clearly spell out the information we collect about you and how we keep it safe.

  • When you visit pepitaneedlepoint.com, your computer sends anonymous data to our server so that it knows how to serve you (for example, it will tell us what page you want to view, which browser you use, and what language you prefer to read in). We make no attempt to link this information to you personally, rather we aggregate numbers (for example, "75% of all U.S. visits last month were by people using Windows") to improve our content.

  • When you send us an email, we take note of your email address for the purpose of replying to that email, if it requires a reply (for example, if you need your canvas customized, we will send you a draft image for approval via email, or if you are having trouble with a color we can reply with some suggestions). We will never send you advertisements via email. We will never sell, rent, or disclose your email address to an outside party.

  • When you purchase products from us, your billing information (such as your credit card number) is handled by your choice of either Stripe or Paypal. These are established, trustworthy companies which have invested literally millions of dollars ensuring your information is safe with them. They do not share your billing information with us. We receive and record information about your identity (name and email address) so that if you need customer support later we can confirm you are a customer. We also receive and record your shipping address for the sole purpose of delivering your order. We keep this information strictly confidential.

  • We receive reports from our advertising partners (Google, Yahoo, etc) about how many people click on our advertisements, and how many of these people eventually go on to purchase an item. We don't tie these numbers to any customers in particular, but rather use them to improve our advertising campaigns.

  • We track which web pages are of most interest to our best customers. For example, we can tell whether most people who go on to buy a canvas are more interested in floral or nature designs. We make no attempt to discern this about any particular visitor or customer. If you would rather we not track which pages you are viewing, you can turn off cookies (please see the documentation for your browser on how to do this).
