Tortoise And The Hare
"The Tortoise and the Hare" is one of Aesop's Fables. This is the story of a race between unequal partners that has interested people of all ages. It is about a rabbit who ridicules a slow-moving turtle. Tired of the hare's arrogant behavior, the tortiose challenges him to a race. The hare soon leaves the tortoise behind and, confident of winning, takes a nap midway through the race. When the rabbit awakes, however, he finds that his competitor, crawling slowly but steadily, has arrived before him. The moral lesson of the story is that you can be more successful by doing things slowly and steadily than by acting quickly and carelessly. "Slow and steady wins the race."
